This needle felted purse I made has been featured in at least 16 treasuries on Etsy, it is the first needle felted purse I made that got so much attention. I sold 3 of these purses. Out of all the things I make, my wool purses are the sellers. I think I will have a tutorial on how to needle felt. It is alot of fun, so stay tuned to an up coming post on Needle felting.

I made this cute little Ghost doll out of a tshirt. I added a large lace ribbon on her head and tied knots in the corners of the shirt for hands and feet. I gave her black buttons for eyes. And a black satin ribbon around her neck with an orange button in the middle of the bow. She would make a great decoration for the Halloween season. Check her out at my Etsy shop.

Well, my second daughter is growing so fast she just turned six and now Megan just lost her first tooth. I caught the tooth fairy patting her hair and exchanging her tooth for money. Isn't this a great picture.

How Do You Like The New Blog Page!

Hi everyone,
How do you like my blog appearance. It is much easier to read. I have been very busy, just had another baby. I want to sew but I never have enough time, and when the girls are finally asleep I am usually to tired.:) I do seem to have some time to knit though. I can knit on the couch even holding the baby. I am finishing up a pair of mary jane baby booties. I made them with brown 80% wool/20% alpaca yarn, It is so soft and beautiful. I love the way the yarn gets messy looking when I knit with it. I makes it look soft. Anyway I will post pictures of them when I get them sewn up and the buttons and snaps on them. Until then have a great evening.

Hi everyone,

I just got done making these cute felt Halloween treat bags. I cut the felt freehand to make the witch, ghost, vampire, bat, cat, and jack-o-lantern. I think they turned out pretty good for not using a pattern. I glued the images together and glued them to a bag measuring 4x5 inches. I used pinking shears for the cute edge. What a great Halloween treat bag to give to your favorite little ghouls. You can purchase them at my Etsy shop, and I will be giving a set away for the 13 days of Halloween on Artfire. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been busy learning a new skill. I have always wanted to learn how to knit. I learned from this great site. Knittinghelp.com. I learned how to knit, purl, and the stockinette stitch. I just learned how to increase and decrease stitches. I made the most adorable newborn baby hat and booties. Here is a picture of the hat and booties, I posted them on artfire and etsy.

Well, I made my coupon holder, and I made a video of my needle felting techniques but my husband just told me we need an adapter to hook the video up to the computer, so when we pick it up I will post the video, here is a picture of the final product. I can't wait to carry it to the store on my next shopping trip. I hope to get the video up over the weekend.

My Needlefelted Coupon Holder

I will make a coupon holder out of gray wool felt. I want to show you how I needlefelt my coupon holder. My list of items are:

either a piece of foam, or a needlefelting block
needle felting needles,I like medium weight
my fabric piece, like wool, felt, or denim, fabric that is heavy
and my color choices in wool roving.
black beads and beading thread and needle.

I am making a cherry blossom branch using black roving my cherry blossoms are going to be red with white centers. I like to bead the centers with black beads. Check back on my video of needlefelting.

I am so busy with my job and my girls I am having a hard time find the time and energy to sew. My shops are running low on my purses. Wow how to get more time that is the question. Maybe tomorrow night.:) I have great ideas, I am thinking about needlefelting a couple of couple of coupon holders out of felt.
